about me

My name is Yasmien but as you can tell I prefer Mia. I am nineteen years old (when I wrote this). I grew up in a very diverse family. I have an american-born mom of European descent (irish, scotish and english) and a father of Middle Eastern descent (saudi arabian and egyptian). Life as their child has not always been easy when it comes to decisions because well my mom is Christian and my dad is Muslim. However, I have the best of both worlds. I am a vegetarian by choice. That started at the age of eleven. I went vegan for several months but realized i loved cheese far too much...the real cheese not that soy stuff (although I do enjoy some soy). I am an easy-going, down to earth girl who just loves to try everything once. I speak three languages and I am currently working on my fourth and fifth. I enjoy jetskiing, baking, tanning, travelling and being me.

I created this blog so I can just post my thoughts, opinions, ideas and view points! I welcome any feedback, criticism, encouragement, responses, debates etc to my blogs. I am just doing this for fun and my blog will include everything from food, fashion, culture, and life as I view it from my eyes. I hope everyone enjoys reading it!!!!!
