The 61st Emmy Awards will be held September 20th in Los Angeles
Here are the nominees (some of which I am excited about and others which I am not so excited about) :
Drama Series: "Big Love," HBO ( I have never even seen this show so it must not be good. ahha ok maybe it is since it was nominated)
"Breaking Bad," AMC;
"Damages," FX Networks
"Dexter," Showtime ( I have learned to like Dexter because my aunt watches the show so much)
"House," Fox ( I apologize to all you Hugh Laurie fans but I hate this show. It grosses me out way too much. I want to throw up every time they show a patient who has some odd disease. I dont handle hospitals and illnesses well, clearly)
"Lost," ABC;
"Mad Men," AMC.
Comedy Series: "Entourage," HBO (Not a bad show)
Family Guy," Fox (Not my type of show but it is a bit funny at times.)
"Flight of the Conchords," HBO ( I love this show. its funny. its cute. its obnoxious)
"How I Met Your Mother," CBS (hahaha it just sounds like a good show. I have not seen it though)
"The Office," NBC
"30 Rock," NBC
"Weeds," Showtime.
Miniseries: "Generation Kill," HBO; "Little Dorrit" PBS.
Made-for-TV Movie: Ok so HBO has the advantage in this category with a 3-2 lead in nominations. I am completely rooting for Coco Chanel.

"Prayers for Bobby," Lifetime
